Toshiba adds a 4K display to the new Satellite P55t laptop

The 4K resolution is here to stay and it is slowly replacing the 1080p (Full HD) resolution.

The newest laptop from Toshiba, the Satellite P55t, offers a 3840 x 2160 resolution in its 15.6-inch IPS panel to get a screen density of more than 280 dots per inch (dpi).

This laptop features a 4th generation quad-core Intel Core (Haswell) processor with 16 GB of RAM. The graphics card is a Radeon R9 M265X with 2GB GDDR5 of dedicated memory. It also has a 1TB HDD.

Naturally, it features Wi-Fi AC connectivity, HDMI ports and a Blu-Ray player. The sound system is made by Harman Kardon, with DTS processing and the ability to function as speaker if the computer is off.

This model will cost 1500 dollars when it’s released on April 22.
