The new model of MSI’s gaming series with chip GTX 770 from NVIDIA comes with 4 GB GDDR5 RAM.
We could see the prototype at the Computex 2013, but the model that was officially released featured 2GB GDDR5 RAM. Now, MSI has officially presented the 4 GB version, something that will surely benefit those who like to play their games at high resolutions and with filters.
The design is identical to the 2 GB one we already knew, with a customized design and a TwinFrozr 4 cooling system with double 100-mm fans, copper heat pipes and an aluminum-made heat sink. It can be over clocked, reaching speeds of 1137/1189 MHz for the GPU, without and with turbo, respectively. The 4 GB GDDR5 RAM works at 7000 MHz.
Naturally, it will be slightly more expensive than its 2 GB counterpart: if that one costs around 400 Euros, the new version with twice as much RAM will cost about 40-50 USD more.
