At the Computex 2013 we could see MSI’s gaming version of the GTX 770 graphics card. Now, the company has officially announced a superior model, a MSI oriented for Gaming computers, based on the GeForce GTX 780 chip. It features a custom cooling system with two 100-mm fans, which allows it to reach speed of up to 954 MHz (1006 MHz with turbo Boost), an interesting increase from the reference model’s 863 / 900 MHz. All of that without exceeding a temperature of 68 degrees and a sound level of 25.7 dB.
It keeps its 6008 Mhz speed and the 3 Gb GDDR5 vRAM, two DVI ports, a DisplayPort and a HDMI. We can change between OC and normal modes, and even a silent mode with the included MSI Gaming App software. Also, with MSI Afterburner you can increase the speeds even further or save your game.
Its release Price is still unknown, but it’s almost certain to be higher than 820 USD, the GTX 780’s current price with a heat sink.
