Videocardz brings these leaks about all the specifications for the new Intel Haswell-E CPUs for socket LGA2011-3 in addition to their prices; they are none other than the i7-5820K Intel Core, Intel Core i7-5930K, and the Core i7 -5960X.
The top model id the Intel Core i7-5960X, a processor with 8 cores @ 3.00 GHz (3.50 GHz turbo) is accompanied by 16 logical cores (HyperTreading), 20 MB of cache Quad – Channel memory controller DDR4-2133 MHz, a 140w TDP that counts on 40 PCI-Express 3.0 lines which allows the configuration of a minimum of two graphics cards @x16 plus 1x @ x8 (x16/x16/x18).
A level below we find the Intel Core i7- 5930K, which had 6 cores at a frequency of 3.50 GHz (3.70 GHz turbo) accompanied by 12 logical cores with 16 MB of cache maintain the rest of the specification with the top models of the Haswell-E family. Its price is 583 euros.
Lastly, the most important by its cost/performance is the Intel Core i7-5820K with 6 cores @3.30 GHz (3.60 GHz) and has the same specifications as the Core i7-5930K, with one exception, 28 PCI- Express 3.0 Lines which in the best of cases will allow three graphics cards with a velocity of x16/x8/x4. Its price is 389 euros.
As we can see in the leaked slides, the new top model, the Intel Core i7-5960X, is up to 32% faster compared to the previous top model, the Core i7-4960X, being at least 14% faster than those at the more professional level.
Additionally, we know that Intel will make available to users the water cooling system Intel Liquid Cooling TS13, consisting of a radiator 120 x 120 mm supported by a PWM 120mm fan that operates between 800 and 2000 RPM creating a noise of 21 to 35 dBA. The price would be around 85-100 euros.
Remember that in the upcoming 29 of August these three processors will be for sale accompanied by a wide variety of motherboards.
