AOC has revealed its new gaming monitor g27Pqu, aimed to gamers due to both, its 27” size, and it’s refreshing rate of 144 Hz. It is specially good for FPS (First Person Shooter) games. The monitor uses a LED-TN panel with a Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080), so its response time is of only 1 ms.
With the addition of this new monitor to their catalog, already quite extensive, of AOC Gamer monitors, they search to cover all necessities of an undoubtedly booming market. Its price of 450 dollars with a LED-TN panel (Gamers tend to prefer monitors with IPS panels, since even if they do not have a response time as fast, they have better color reproduction and better viewing angles)doesn’t make it as attractive a priori, but AOC has equipped it with some other features to compensate, like a complete height adjustment that allows even to set the monitor in vertical, its refresh rate of 144Hz or its wide connectivity that includes a VGA video port, a DVI-DL, an HDMI port and 4 USB port, two of which are 3.0.
On the other hand, this AOC g2770Pqu has two loud speakers with 2W integrated, as well as an in and out audio port through a 3.5mm minijack. It also has a VESA 100 anchorage, so it can be completely removed from the base and anchored on compatible supports.
As we said before, this monitor will be available starting next month with a price of 450 dollars.
